Soap making mold is available in a variety of materials shapes and sizes. Because soap making is a creative hobby that saves money and allows for a limitless array of products, soap molds are considered to be an integral part of the soap making process.  Soap molds can be simple bar or loaf shaped items or intricately manufactured molds that turn a fantastic recipe into a beautiful decorative soap. It is important to line these molds to make it easier to remove the soap from the mold for cutting. Cold process soap can be removed from the mold after it has cured the required amount of time which is approximately six to 8 weeks depending on the recipe used.

3-Dimensional or 3-D Soap Molds-These sophisticated and versatile soap molds are most commonly used to create cold process hand soap or melt and pour glycerin soaps. These are extremely durable and made of a Polystyrene extremely heavy duty plastic and ABS plastic which are FDA approved and food safe. Available in two part molds, four cavity or six cavity molds they can be used for numerous soap making options. These soap molds create a wide variety of beautiful, stylish and professional looking soaps

Sheet Soap Making Mold -These molds made of PVC plastic come in sheets and is similar to cookie cutters. They are a good choice for creation of smaller soaps in multiple shapes and sizes.

Flexible Soap Making Molds- Flexible soap molds are the ideal choice for cured soap because these types of soap molds make it much easier to release soap from the cavity of the mold. Soap makers find that these molds are very durable and that the use of flexible vinyl allows for much greater detail and eliminates the risk of soap crumbling as it is released from the mold.
